For Mateuszek and Michał after the loss of Magda
Dear Athletes,
Magda Czarnecka was one of us. She ran orienteering, competed in our competitions, and traversed the same routes as us. A few days ago, a tragedy occurred that none of us would have wanted to experience. Magda died during childbirth of her son, Mateusz. Mateusz was born but never got to meet his mother.
Her husband, Michał, was left alone with their little son.
Therefore, I am reaching out to our community—those who knew Magda and those who may have never spoken to her. If you can and want to, please help Michał and Mateusz. It doesn't have to be a large amount. Every 10, 20, or 50 złoty makes a difference. We can also simply share the information.
In orienteering, we are often alone on the course, but we are never alone as competitors. This time, let's run together too – for Magda, Michał, and little Mateusz.
